Land Registry Title Registers provide detailed property, house and land information, including ownership details, house price, title number, tenure and boundaries, and also details of any leases, mortgages and covenants.
The Land Registry Title Plan displays an outline of the property and its surroundings, often with coloured markings indicating rights of way, shared access, land affected by covenants and the route of watercourses.

We are an independent organisation established in 1998 and are not affiliated with the Government or with HM Land Registry (HMLR). Official copies of the Register and Plan can be obtained by post via HM Land Registry – More – for a charge of £7.00 per document. Our fees include all applicable HMLR documents and search charges, determining whether or not the property has a registered Title, investigating the Pending Application Register (Day List) to determine if there are any pending changes of ownership or further charges to be registered against the Title, and the submission of further searches where the property at first appears to be unregistered, to confirm that fact or otherwise, and to check, where the property is unregistered, whether there is a Caution Title, and if so, obtain a copy.
We can obtain all Land Registry documents, including those not available to the public online by direct application to HMLR, usually within an hour of ordering, and then email these to you minutes later (The Title Register, Title Plan and Flood Risk indicator can be ordered direct from HMLR for a fee varying from £3 to £10.80). Our service to you includes additional searches at no extra cost where a required document is difficult to locate, or where there are pending changes that have not yet been implemented by HM Land Registry.
The Title Register contains 3 sections:
Section A is the part of the register that describes the property by reference to its address and states that it is shown on the Title Plan as the land contained within red edging. It also details matters that benefit the land, such as easements which are private rights to use another's property without owning it, and such as a right of way over adjoining land, a right of light, right of access or right of support.
Section B provides details of the owners and their addresses (there can be up to 3 addresses for each owner, including an email address). It also provides the date of purchase, the purchase price, details of any personal covenants and details of any restrictions or notices.
Section C deals with matters that incumber the property such as leases, mortgages and charges.

HM Land Registry public services, which comprise the supply of Title Registers, Title Plans and Flood Risk Indicators, vary in cost between £3-£10.80 when applied for direct from government websites, but without the benefits our services and portal offer.
The Title Plan is provided to a scale of 1:1250 in urban areas and 1:2500 in rural areas. They often contain coloured markings that refer to rights of way and parcels of land affected by covenants. The Title Register describes what the coloured markings refer to.
The area contained within the property title is shown by thick red edging. Everything within the red edging forms part of the Title save for any areas within it that are edged in green. Such areas have been removed from the Title, usually following a sale of part of the land.
